La Casa Menonita 1922 is a lovingly restored historic home — one of a kind in the world. We ask all guests to treat it with the same care they would their own home. These rules exist to protect the house, your comfort, and the experience for every guest who comes after you.

The Historic Home
This house is over 100 years old. The original timber beams, floors, and woodwork are irreplaceable. Please keep the following in mind:
- Do not place hot items directly on the original wood surfaces — use the trivets and cutting boards provided.
- Remove shoes in areas with original 1922 wood floors (slippers are provided).
- Please do not attempt to hang, nail, or affix anything to the walls or beams.
- Report any damage or maintenance issues to us promptly via WhatsApp. We won't hold honest accidents against you — we appreciate the heads-up.
Kitchen & Dining
- The full kitchen is available for guest use. Please clean up after each use and leave it as you found it.
- Dishes, pots, and utensils are provided. Please wash and return them after use.
- Please dispose of all trash in the bins provided. A trash collection schedule will be noted in your welcome information.
- Please do not leave food out overnight — this helps us keep the historic home pest-free.
Linens & Towels
- Fresh linens and towels are provided for your stay.
- For stays of 7 nights or longer, a mid-stay linen refresh is included. Additional requests can be arranged for a small fee.
- Please do not take towels to the pool, beach, or excursions — dedicated outdoor towels are available on request.
Parking
Free private parking is available on the property. Guests park at their own risk. Please do not block the access gate.
Damage & Liability
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, its contents, or its historic elements beyond normal wear and tear. We reserve the right to charge the card on file for damages discovered at check-out. We carry property insurance; we ask guests to carry personal travel insurance for their own belongings.
