Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both guests and to us as a small, owner-operated property. Please read the terms below carefully before completing your reservation.

Stay Cancellations

The cleaning fee is always fully refunded on cancellations, regardless of timing.

How to Cancel

To cancel or modify a reservation, please contact us as early as possible using one of the methods below. Include your name, booking dates, and booking reference number.

Cancellations are confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from us. The cancellation date is the date we receive your request, not the date we respond.

Modifications & Date Changes

We're happy to accommodate date changes subject to availability. Date changes requested more than 14 days before check-in are free of charge. Changes within 14 days of arrival are treated as a new booking — any price difference applies, and the original booking's cancellation policy governs the released nights.

Tour & Class Cancellations

Tours and classes are booked and managed separately. The following terms apply:

• 48+ hours before the experience: Full refund.
• Less than 48 hours before: No refund, but we will do our best to reschedule you for a future date.
• Cancellation by us: If we cancel a tour or class for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Cancellations by La Casa Menonita 1922

In the rare event that we must cancel your reservation (e.g., due to property damage or an emergency), you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid within 5 business days. We will also do our best to help you find alternative accommodation in the area.

Force Majeure

Neither party will be held liable for cancellations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed travel restrictions, or other acts of God. In such cases, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule or provide a credit toward a future stay.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
